Our Founder: Jo KosewskiHibiscus Tours was founded by Jo Kosewski, a travel addict and woman searching for her true vocational path. Jo has a background in finance and business and pursued a long career as an investment banker. Over time she found this occupation less fulfilling and began to wonder what was next! She left her job and spent the next few years reflecting on her life, contemplating her future and indulging her passion for traveling the world.
Traveling
alone, Jo enjoyed the confidence and resourcefulness she gained on each
trip. At home she met many women who envied her journey.
These women often mused that they did not have the time to plan a
trip and they could not find a friend with whom they might share their
journey. They told Jo that they admired her for traveling on her own
terms and over time, Jo began to realize that the confidence she gained
by meeting various travel challenges translated into other areas of her
life as well. By founding Hibiscus Tours, Jo believes she can
help other women and enable them to experience this confidence and
empowerment for themselves.Blossoming Hibiscus:Humble BeginningsBetween trips, Jo worked with a personal life coach who empowered her to move enthusiastically toward a career that was more authentic to her. Realizing how her personal growth work has impacted her life, and knowing many women with similar life questions and challenges, Jo combined her love of travel with personal coaching to create Hibiscus Tours for Women. She believes travel is a particularly effective way to create a learning and growth environment that can expand a woman’s mind beyond her comfort zone. Over time, Jo hopes that Hibiscus Tours will become a vibrant community of travelers and women who wish to fulfill their life quest.

Hibiscus
Tours has selected well-known, respected, qualified speakers to lead
workshops. Each
speaker will work with your small tour group and on an individual
basis, bringing to bear her knowledge, insight and expertise. On
each trip, the featured speaker will join the group at the retreat
location where you will spend 3 days together, working on a particular
